(Not like I was active here to begin with, but that's neither here nor there)

I never thought I would make this kind of post. I loved DA but my God has this site taken a turn for the worse! The UI is atrocious and hard to manage, Groups are essentially dead, you even took away the llama for points system! Now this site has an AI generator? Even after artist time and time again told you that AI was stealing their stuff and no one wanted this? There's only so much bs a person can take! I do not, have not, and will never support AI Generated Art nor NFTs (Non-fungible tokens).

I've been on this site since I was 14 and I'm 27 now. I'd actually planned to come back during the holidays and post some of my new sketches that I was doing and even thought of taking in request, but now? I'm going to take this as a sign from the universe and stay gone.

I won't deactivate or anything like that. I might not even delete any of my art, since I'm quite proud of it. I just don't see any point in using this sight anymore, which is a shame because I spent my early teens to my late 20's on here. This place will always be a time capsule for me. The start of my art phase and writing journey. Even so, I know when it's time to move on.

My main Tumblr is DJBoomBase, but the-queen-of-pastels for my art and other aesthetics, and writer-of-passion is my writing blog.

I'm also beginning to write on ao3! writer-of-passion is also my name over there.

So, that's it really! Sad to see this place go, but I know there are more journeys ahead in the future. So, see ya there!

Tried to post my art on Twitter and Tumblr, and it was a FLOP! Humbled my ass for sure

But I have been drawing more and more, so I have art for you guys! I might even open up request again later down the line.

Let's see how this plays out.

So, hello everyone who's still here! I'm back again. DA has...really changed hasn't it? I know it's been a while, and looking through some of my old stuff has been a journey (I'll admit, a lot is cringe-worthy,) but I'm back and I have a new outlook on art! I want to make art because it makes me feel good, and I want to share that art with y'all. I still have NeonHoneyBee but that will be for my poems/other writings. Can't wait to go on this new art adventure (again!)
