Can Disney fans explain this to me?

Why is it that every time you see a Disney princess banner, there's always one particular princess that seems to be left out?

This Disney princess I'm talking about is Kida for Atlantis: The Lost Empire. I never really got why she was left out, seeing that she seems to be the princess that people have begged Disney to make.

• She's can speak multiple languages.
  • Judging by her outfit and her staff, she's the first Disney princess that can defend herself and is a leader.
    • She's a different ethnicity than the other Disney princesses.
      • She's can come and go anywhere independently.
        • She isn't obsessed with finding love. Plus she and Milo develop a relationship over time rather than falling in love instantly/being held hostage.
          • She doesn't sing a song about how her life sucks.
            • Even though Milo saves her in the end, she ultimately save Atlantis from burning lava.
              • She the first Disney princess to transitions into queen status.

Kida is the first princess to break all of the rules of Disney's expectations of princesses, and yet, she get ignored and pushed to the side. I mean, even Mulan gets a spot at the princess table, and she isn't even a princess!

So, why is Kida forgotten? Why don't we see more of her in Disney art and fan art in general?
