I've been seeing this new chainmail thread going around called #weloveyoucreepypasta, saying that creppypasta is "fading away."
Let me just say it right now, it's bullshit. Every single bit of it.
Now, I know what many of you are thinking, "How do you know it's not true?" Well, this sort of tipped me off:
"Please don't get CreepyPastas banned from the U.S... If this keeps up! They will ban Creepypasta's from all 7 contents in the earth!!" (wonderful spelling and punctuation, really believable
)I'm sorry, but did you just say banned from the US and all seven continents? Excuse me, but I don't think that's possible. Let's face it, when it boils down to it, creepypastas are nothing more than horror stories. If you were going to ban creepypastas, you would have to ban the entire horror genre. Say what you want, but I don't believe anyone is that stupid enough to try and get a complete genre of books banned. They tried to get comic books banned and look how great that turned out to be.
I mean, you would have to get rid of all the classic works of Edgar Allen Poe, Alfred Hitchcock, Steven King, and many other famous author. Not to mention you would have to ban horror movies and Halloween itself. There's too many fans of the horror genre that would let that sort of thing happen.
Oh, and another thing, saying things like this isn't going to make you any look better:
Normal girls want to marry Princes, we want to marry Killers (Um...I don't think you would want that.)
Normal girls play Dress up, we Cosplay (Cosplaying is the same thing as dressing up.)
Normal girls eat Ice cream when depressed, we eat Cheesecake (Okay?)

Normal girls freak out over a broken nail, we freak out over a broken knife (Again, no you don't.)
Normal girls wear Bows, we wear Beanies (What does that have to do with anything?)
Normal girls say weird, we say cool (Alright?)
Normal girls ask why did you do that?, we say you shouldn't have done that (Okay, I'll give you that one.)
Normal girls say go to hell, we say GO.TO.SLEEP. (That doesn't make sense)
Normal girls say Link, we say BEN Drowned (That's somewhat the same thing)
Normal girls think Jeff is ugly, we think he is Beautiful (Whatever floats your boat)
Normal girls say Cannibal, we say Eyeless Jack (Um...alright?)
Normal girls say go die in a hole, we say you've met with a terrible fate haven't you? (Really?)
Normal girls fan girl over band boys, we fan girl over Psycho Killers (...no comment)
So please, calm down. Creepypasta aren't going anywhere, so you can stop worrying and stop spamming inboxes with it >: C
